Knowing this information and how to use it can be beneficial for an entrepreneur. So, here are some ways that independent business men and business women can see an increase in their commissions during this season.

Several people are going to be shopping for gifts, so if you know a lot about toys or beauty products or any other item that a holiday buyer might find attractive, create a website where you write product reviews. Then, attach your product reviews to the products in the articles, so you can get a commission every time someone buys them. Also, make sure that you have Google Adsense or Amazon Native Ads on this page, so that even if the buyer doesn’t buy your product, you still have the potential that they will click another ad on your page, which also enables you to get a commission.

2. Blog about new book releases.

This may seem silly, but book sales are usually up during the holiday season, so if you are a book reviewer, you may be able to make a commission through your reviews. To do this, you would have to link an affiliate link to the book in your blog, so that every time a person buys it, you get paid as well.

If you don’t like doing book reviews, then some authors will pay you a small stipend just to advertise their book on your blog. Of course, you have to have good viewing traffic and the ability to advertise your blog to do this, but by featuring their book on your page and getting viewers to look at it, the author will be happy, and you will get paid. Also, you can attach affiliate links to the book in this situation to drive extra income.

3. Support small businesses by setting up a website that they can advertise on.

Working in a small business is a difficult job, and owners in this sector may not have a lot of money to advertise their business on big sites. Therefore, if you are good at advertisement and know how to set up a web page that people will visit, you may be able to work out a deal with a small business that allows them to advertise with you for a small stipend.

There are several other ways to make money during this time, but the ways listed can be done from home. This eliminates the need for travel and makes it easier for you to set your own schedule. So, if you are looking for a way to make a couple of bucks this holiday season, consider using your skills to advertise others.
