You begin by looking at both the negatives and positives. You will then support one side at the end of it all through facts and collected statistics. This paper allows the expression of emotions and gives one the freedom of being biased.

Cause and Consequences

With this type, one begins by identifying a happening. You explain the situation and then proceed to show the reader what is causing the case. After doing so, you then describe the consequences of the happening and wrap it all up by drawing a conclusion.

The conclusion may talk about what should be done to stop the issue from taking place and how to lessen the effects of the happening. The information provided in the content should be useful to individual bodies.

Experimental

When most students hear the word “experiment,” the first thing that comes to mind is probably a lab set up. However, the experiment does not have to take place in a lab. In some instances, it can be within the, but in other situations; it can be conducted in a specific population outside a test site.

Survey

A survey is mostly about opinions about a particular element. It can be about a specific product or a move by the government. It focuses on what the population thinks about something. The feedback will later be used to improve the matter being researched.

If it is a product, the manufacturer will go back and improve an element of the item to suit customer preference. If it concerns an issue with the government, the people in charge can recommend a change. All in all, the survey must be directly or indirectly related to the respondents.

Report

Most people prefer this type because it entails providing information on a particular phenomenon. You may attend an event and be asked to report on what you saw during the event as you talk about what you experienced there. The report gives the audience a detailed account of the subject of discussion.

Final Thoughts

All these types require a lot of research and commitment to the task. The person marking your research paper will pay extra attention to the findings and how you analyze those discoveries according to the topic being discussed. You should ensure that the information you provide is well organized and offers answers to the assigned task.
